CONTEMPORARY OIL PAINTINGS

I am drawn to florals and landscapes as displays of growth and transition; moments of ripeness, followed by death and rebirth. Whether a flower at its fullest bloom before withered brown takes its color, or a summer season on the cusp of cold, I believe knowledge of its fleeting nature is part of life's richness. With loose, ephemeral oil paintings, I seek to capture these brief moments at the height of our blooming.
