Holding On - 11x14
These roses were picked from garden shrubs in California. They are not as a long-lasting cut flower and lose their petals quite quickly, but in this moment, they were such a joy to paint. You find yourself hoping that they hold on a little longer as they begin losing their petals. I think knowing the end is coming, makes you appreciate them a little more. Signed Byron in lower right corner.
